The 2017 Vintage
The 2017 vintage had its difficulties but turned out well, producing small quantities of high quality wine. High wind and rain during flowering resulted in uneven fruit set and smaller crops than preferred, but good ripening weather after that produced lovely flavours and firm acidity in the finished wines.

100% whole bunch, wild yeast fermentation
Pressed 17 days post harvest and racked to barrel after 24 hours settling in tank
100% French oak, 20% new
Natural malolactic fermentation in barrel
15 Months in wood with 1 racking prior to bottling without fining or filtration
