The Wine.
The fruit from this wine comes from two Moorooduc vineyards on the Mornington Peninsula – the Garden Vineyard and Osborn Vineyard.
Pale gold in colour with a rich nose of spiced pear tarts, with a hint of roasted almonds, grated ginger and ginger flower. On the palate, the wine is full bodied and savoury yet rich, with ripe yellow pear and quince fruit and tangy lemon and orange zest on the finish.
A wine that is delicious right now and will match beautifully to goats cheese and onion tart, a slice of prosciutto or a piece of taleggio cheese.

Description
The 2016 Vintage.
Another lovely vintage, generous in style and quality. The even conditions this vintage lead to wines of power and structure, with a lovely core of fruit. While the 2015 wines were all about fruit purity and high natural acidity, our 2016 wines are about rich, ripe fruit and phenolics resulting in intense ripe, structured wines which should, like the 2015’s, cellar well for many years.
