Bright ruby garnet in colour, this wine is highly aromatic, perfumed with ripe red and yellow cherry and very spiced. Warm, sweet Moroccan aromatics abound, with pomegranate and rose petals, a touch of musk and anise.

Palate reflects the nose with elegant and pretty red fruit and spice. The wine shows a generosity of mid-palate, and finishes with good acid and firm, silky tannins. Very good length with subtle power; complete and round.

Match to roast bird – chicken, quail or duck will all work beautifully with this wine.

Very limited stock of museum release wines are available to our wine club members https://www.moorooducestate.com.au/my-account/?wcm_redirect_to=product&wcm_redirect_id=4569

Description

The 2010 Vintage

The 2009/2010 season was fantastic and very much welcomed after the stress of the previous year. A beautiful vintage with just the right amount of rain and sunshine, no disease pressure and everything went like clockwork, resulting in lovely small, ripe berries. A vintage of no excuses!
