Happy 2017!  Music and lunch are coming up at Moorooduc this month!

Jill's January Sunday Lunch

The dates for this year's Sunday lunches are now on the website and the first lunch is Sunday January 22nd.  We are pulling some wines out of the museum for your pleasure this month.

The menu is cool and fresh to match the season – we will start with Gazpacho matched to the 2012 Garden Vineyard Pinot Gris (savoury and textural this wine is really rewarding the extra time in bottle we have given it).

Main course will be Jill's Salade Nicoise with a glass of the 2010 The Moorooduc McIntyre Chardonnay and a glass of 2010 Robinson Pinot Noir.  And to finish, panna cotta and strawberries.  What could be more appropriate for a relaxing Summer Sunday lunch?

We still have some tables available, so call 03 59718506 or email me@moorooducestate.com.au.  We require payment on booking ($85 a head) and please let us know if you have any dietary requirements when you book so we can make sure we have something delicious for you on the day!

Peninsula Music Festival 1- 14th January 2017

We will be welcoming the music festival back to Moorooduc Estate on the 11th January.  The concert is titled 'Notturno' and features Vietnamese-born Australian pianist Hoang Pham, violinist Katherine Lukey and cellist Paul Ghica, performing Schubert's Notturno in E flat Major and Dvorak's Piano Trio No 3 in F minor Op 65.

There are two, one hour long performances – one at 5pm, and the other at 7pm.  There will be wine available to purchase by the glass at cellar door prior to 5pm, and between the two concerts.

Tickets are $60/$55 concession (+booking fee)

This is such a lovely way to experience classical music, the acoustics of our restaurant and the tones of our beautiful Steinway Baby Grand piano.  For more information, and to book, visit www.peninsulafestival.com.au

Cheers and happy 2017!
Kate, Jill, Richard and all the Moorooduc team!
